By reading your replies, I did not realize how many folders with scull crushers I already had. Off to the supermarket to buy some coconuts... :D
Steve H., you're right, the butt is not completely flat. It was a while since I played with my Covert babies.

BM 806. After reading the perfigo article, I actually went around nailing the punching bag at school w/ it, plus myself (lightly).

Conclusion: Nice butt.

Interestingly, Bob Kasper cited Loriega's "Sevillian Steel" book as the inspiration for the perfigo. However, in the book, Loriega cites the CS Vaquero Grande and the BM 806D2 as very good knives for Navaja use and practice. Something to think about.

WOW...Doc lathe....that top knife is absolutely gorgeous! One of the most beautaful fixed blades I've seen.....how much do you sell them for?:D:D:D:D:D

Warthog,

That "fixed blade" knife you are referring to is actually a folder!!!:D

It's as bad-a$$ as bad-a$$ gets! Unfortunatley, Neil is so backlogged right now, he's not even taking orders!

But when he catches up, I'm definately putting my name on that list!

LOL, I actually didn't take your word for it when you said that...the blade looked bigger than the handle!:D....so I went to his site and low and behold, it's a 5.5" blade folder:D

And I thought my SOG Tomcat II was huge........

I'd say just about any folder with a "pointed" end. Some that come to mind: REKAT Sifu, Emerson Commander, Benchmade AFCK, and Microtech.
