Folders, ease of use, and which is the best slicer?

I may end up getting the Nemesis as well.

It's the same knife with a different blade, but it has to be just as strong.

Mechanically, I think that the Nemesis should be just as strong as the MPC.

In my hands, the two feels identical in lock engagement, pivot smoothness, etc.

My single reservation with the comparison of the MPC-vs-Nemesis is that the blade shape/profile seems to me to favor the MPC quite a bit in terms of both tip strength as well as the toughness of the blade itself.

OK, we've all seen photos of Mick pounding on one of his SnGs 10x with a big-assed sledge without producing any mechanical problems even at the pivot (the Ti side was bent, however, the locking integrity was uncompromised; the G10 side suffered only superficial cosmetic defacement) -- are the ER folders as tough? I don't know, as I haven't seen evidence -- but just from handling the MPC and Nemesis, I am reasonably sure that they'll at the very least reasonably "pass" such rather unreasonable (but interesting and entertaining) excessive-abuse tests.

Brownie, the cross bolt on my MPC is actually hard to engage, so it does not accicdently go into the lock position when pocketed. There must be some tolerances that might differ on certain knives.

One of my first uses of this knife was to break up some ice in a beer cooler at a camping party. Came though just as expected. Got sh*t-faced. Oh, and the knife was OK, too!
