Hellooo Everyone,
From some time... ( a lot of time...) I was thinking about to start with making folder knives.
And that time has come!
When I get back my designs from old laptop I will show alpha versions of them.
For now I need to know something:
1.) M2 screws with torx will be good ( Bussard made) ?
2.) Nylatron GS for washers ?
3.) Custom made bearing from Nylatron GS 1,02mm + 1,2mm silicon nitride balls will be ok ?
4.) For first prototypes I want to use fly cutter for making parts flat and with desired thickness, it's ok ?
5.) It will be ok if I will make my own pivots, stop pins etc. on lathe? Bohler M340 or M390 would be used in bar stock 12,7mm and 6,3mm bars.
5a.) For what hardness I should aim for Pivots etc. ? ( then Turning in hard material)
6.) Anything else I should know about liner lock / frame lock ?
