The stresses placed on throwing knives are enormous, which is why dedicated throwers tend to be rather simple slabs of metal. Blades break or bend, handles fly off, etc.
Folders are far too fragile for serious throwing. If you absolutely must, try using a "soft" target such as styrofoam sheeting or cardboard.
