My FB2 model with the Sawby lock I recently began useing. ( also known as the self-lock). The blade is S30V, and measures 3" . The knife is 3 3/4" closed, with bark mastodon scales and stainless bolsters.

The Sawby lock is a real treat to use. It is VERY easy to operate one handed, and is sealed from dirt and pocket lint. To unlock the folder, you simply push up on the bottom of the blade tang, and lift it free of the lock. It snaps into the frame when about 1/4" from being closed.

I am numbering and cataloging all of my knives from now on, and this one is # 4. I am also intorducing these at an introductory price. Price will go up after the Blade show. This one is $600 shipped CONUS. It comes with a leather slipcover. I take CC and Payapl, but will ask you to add 3%.

Let me know what you think, Thanks!!

Don't mean to muddle up a sale thread, but great looking knife. No surprise there. I'm looking forward to seeing how this lock performs.

Here's what I think.I like the blade size and shape, and the overall size. The thumbstud is unique, for a knife of this size/shape.The lock, well,it is new,and I heard good things. The handle material is nice looking.I also think that I will like it,and it will make a nice companion for my Laredo stag.
Thanks Bailey Bradshaw !

Congrats. I have the smaller model in stag and with a shield on the way. It will be my first knife by Bailey, but I'm sure it won't be my last.

Thanks,Mike,This will be my third,Wrayh has my first one.I like the idea of one blade, and real anxious and excited to check out this new lock.

That's a beautifull knife. If I was in the market for a custom folder and I had the money and my wife allowed me to buy knives, I would buy that one!!

ELDE,

I can mount the thumb stud on either side, or can make it on both sides for a truely ambidextrous folder. The lock is centered on the knife with equal access for either side.

I'm real pleased with this knife, perfect size and blade shape.I did not know what to expect from this lock setup, but it is fantastic,as well as unique. Thanks Bailey, and now you've got me looking at Sawby knives!
