I've only got four of 'em...
I saw the last large folding hunter thread was closed almost a year ago, and I just got a new one in the mail!

Top one is a Western my Dad bought in 1955 ($3.50). There's no way I'm going to carry that one! I just got the second one (in the mail today!) so I could carry one like my dad's without worrying too much. It's a Western, also, with delrin handles. It came with a belt sheath-- a nice bonus. Pretty awesome deal at about $35.00 shipped! I'm going to have to look around for more of these!
The last two are a Shcrade and a Queen. Not sure where I picked these up, but are still pretty great knives!

As I was looking through the pictures before I had read your text below I was all over that top knife. That knife is beautiful and even more now with the story behind it.

This is my first and currently my only Folding Hunter.

Congrats on the new one. Love the nail nicks and slim profile.

I have the Old Timer { never been used} and Case. I like that bottom Queen in the pic.

That knife has been used long and hard! The bone almost glows. Dad has a story about how he had to hike back seven miles down a canyon in the dark to get it. He remembered exactly what log it was stuck in right when he got back to his car.:D

Here's mine. Bought it in August 1965. It came without a sheath so I made one from an old, leather, satchel, briefcase.

I'm waiting for someone to post a vintage dog's head Kabar...:)

You're killing me. Every time I see one I long for my old 125OT.
One day I need another one.

comoha as you requested . this particular pattern has been reintroduced by a modern maker. do'nt remember the co. but even the copy is expensive. this is the only one i know of that has a tit on the swing gard that drops into a notch on the bolster.

I need to take a new picture, there are two or three missing from this one (new additions).

Here's an eye-brand, a gift from a generous forum member.
Sharp as the dickens. Sees pocket time in my back pocket on occasion.

Old Bulldog. One of the most overlooked Folding Hunters are the ones Western made. A little slimmer and easy to carry.I must say tho, this ol' bulldog has some great features.

They're both beautiful. The first one especially-- swedges and an opposite than usual blade configuration. Sweet long matchstrike pull!

Yeah, I know what ya mean. Nobody grinds 'em like that any more. Good eye!! Most people don't manage to see that.

Yeah, Greg, both of those are really sweet. I think that Bulldog you show is my favorite of the ones that have been posted. I'd buy one of those at the drop of a hat if I ran across one.
