Folding knife clips

Hi guys does any body have a tutorial or recommendation on making clips for folding knives >>?

They are one of those items that are tedious to make. When I do I use .040 titanium and lots of heat for the bends and curves. I prefer using three 2 X 56 screws to attatch but do some with two screws. At this point I have bought some from USA knifemaker supply. Frank

Hardened 301 stainless steel would work too.

Here is one way to do it. You can also substitute whatever material you choose for the steel I use. FYI, I still use that clip everyday and it is holding up well.

I like the fold over deep pocket types
and as frank said 3 screws hods much better than 2.

I'm a bit biased toward that one myself...

2 screws work great when they are in line with the applied pressure, like the clips I make.
Not as great when they are on either side of the clip, like most store bought clips.
