almost done with the 120 portion
made this an about 15 mins that is a piece of plexi glass
sanding i different direction to get the most out of the sand paper
lots of work still
just a little bit more i nicked the edge on the belt sander rookie move
just a little more work with the 120 and she will be ready for the 240
little more work on this side also
small divet that needs to be worked out also a little more work on the ricassio
trying to get that hard shit off still on this side i should have done the vinager bath
i should have started out with 80 grit! this is 3 1/2 hours of sanding with 120 lots of sand paper and my hands are tor up long time sense i have done hand sanding and i have never done it like this.
any tips would be great. maybe i should be wearing gloves? seems like they would get in the way.

near the pivot i did not clean it up that much becuase i know i am going to be lining the blade and handle up here
i also left the butt a little rough because of the glass breaker and lanyard hole i am going to be puting in
also cleaned up the thining work i did with a little 120 grit
i forgot to mention this but this folding knife is souly done by eye nothing is measured all the holes everything i am eyeing. this is also another reason why i have to leave a lot of extra around the locking system so i can fit it together. trying to stay as close to the drawing as possible just by comparison.

You wanted a tip on hand sanding:
Start by draw filing with a fine single cut file (I prefer a triangular one)
That will smooth it out. And will make sure the flats are flat.
