Folding saws- Educate me!

Very interesting thread. I guess my experience with cheap and often rusty folders has left me with a bad impression of these saws. Which I suppose pushed me in the axe direction, which I can sharpen.

So, is anyone here able to sharpen their saw? It's almost a complete mystery to me. I can barely sharpen my chainsaw properly.

Found this cool thread, I would expect crazy portaging manly lumberjack types to know what theyre talking about. The Sven gets rave reviews with a bunch of people giving props to the canadian trailblazer bucksaw. folders make me uncomfortable- too many parts and risk of blade breakage. these trailblazer bucksaws look even tougher than the svens and are made in the soviet republic of Canada! It stows an extra blade in the pack AND the extra blades cost $8, the saw itself is gonna cost 28. Those silkys are bloody pricey.
