I did a give away of 2 of my custom knives on here a few weeks ago and I'm finally getting close to finishing the knives up. Here is the give away thread:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...stom-pocket-fixed-blade-**Winners-Announced**

The knives are not complete but they are starting to look like knives now so I thought I would post a couple of pics. In the end I decided to select 2 winners instead of just one. One selected the pocket kwaiken and the other winner selected the swayback box cutter/higo. Very similar material choices for the two but with pretty distinct looks.

forgive my cell phone pics and the knives still have a lot of finishing work left to do but this is the point where they start looking like knives and I get excited and want to show everyone pics before they're finished....

Pocket Kwaiken- O1, G10 and micarta handles, hand rubbed finish, SS hardware:

Swayback Higo- O1, G10 and CF handles, SS hardware, light acid wash finish(the handle on this is only finished to 120 grit in this pic so the CF and G10 doesn't look nearly as nice as it will when finished)

Thanks for looking.

Friggin' gorgeous. That first blade is a timeless work of art. Wow.

Both are very, very nice. The little sharpening choil really classes your knives up. Hey, a small knife MUST be razor sharp on its whole length to stand up to real use. There are two very happy winners today...

They are both gorgeous, but that Kwaiken make me feel all tingly. Great work!

Stunning work! There are going to be two very happy blade owners in the near future.

Great looking pieces bud! Keep the stunning work coming!

I can't wait to carry that kwaiken. I'm so glad you had the Gaw. I feel like that knife will be one of those things I can hand done to my son when he gets older.

This was an awesome prize to win. Aaron did a Fantastic job making it and it looks even better in person. Pics just don't do it justice. Thanks Aaron! Love the knife
