Pigeon is pretty much the same thing as Dove.
Fry the breast and use the rest for stock. Makes a mean broth aswell. Or pull off the meat, add some vegetables and bake into a pie.

I eat farm raised regularly. Anybody who would consider urban pigeon must be pretty desperate.

The "Food Not Bombs" folks have a history of spreading food poisoning among the homeless folk because of their lack of food handling/temps knowledge. I work in the Public Health field and recently went to a seminar where they were on the agenda and actively discussed. This may not seem like a big deal but a lot of the people they are trying to feed have immuno-deficient problems that make food poisoning possibly lethal. That said, I appreciate their sentiments and concerns. My son is involved with them at college and I have offered to give the local chapter a little help with this but havent heard back.--KV

We need to learn that a serving for 1 really is a serving for 2.

If you go by that you will be drinking 2 ounces of what ever you drink and eating like 1/4 cup of cereal for breakfast.
