Food prep EDC blades.

AntDog id never have the cajones to baton across the grain of such a hard variety of cabbage. You can have that title, I'm not worthy!

I just came across this thread.
Here is my EDC line up and they get plenty of kitchen use.
I will try to get some pics of them in use to share this weekend.

I use my small Insingo often for food prep...the blade shape is actually very close to my favourite kitchen knife, a small paring knife:

Which makes it ideal really for food prep:

Man, I would have taken pics of the finished product, but I'm at my inlaws' and they went very, very fast. Slow cooked, Korean BBQ (Bulgogi)... salty and sweet!

Love that that ZT Apple bobbing party going on over there.
My 0562 should be here today and I hope I'll get to use it for something slicey.

99% of the knives posted in this thread are inherently piss-poor for food prep because of their shape. A $10 chef's knife would outperform them.

This kind of stuff, along with skull-shaped pocket clips, is making me consider throwing all my knives into the ocean.

Closed minded attitudes like this, along with Justin Beiber, make me consider throwing myself into the ocean.

It's not closed-minded, it's just that most non-kitchen knives don't work well for food prep. I can't imagine how anyone who knows how to use a kitchen knife could deny this.

I'm sure most folks know kitchen knives outperform most other knives for food preparation. However, the point of this thread is to have fun, and experiment with other knives in the kitchen.

I see no harm in that. It's just another way to use your knives and enjoy them. Even if it IS less efficient.

Take a breath and consider that we may know this yet enjoy using other knives, etc... if you are so offended, look away and enjoy your blades elsewhere. No one asked you to like it; no one is seeking approval; just having what some of us consider a good time.
