Hello friends!
I am pleased to offer a full sized piece for the food lover in your life!
This knife is full flat ground from 1/8" AEBL stock down to under 0.020" before sharpening. Final sharpening bevel is at 15 degrees per side, done on a Wicked Edge system. It is quite sharp. This steel is hardened to Rc 60+. This combo of hardened stainless yields a blade that is very corrosion resistant and holds an edge. Overall length is right at 12" with a cutting edge of approximately 7 1/2". It is an excellent "go-to" size for most kitchen work.
Scales for this blade are made from Alumilite urethane and colored with metallic mica powder. The resulting green and bronze shades came out very well with excellent color separation. This urethane is pressure pot cured and has no bubbles. Solid stainless steel pins,black/white G10 liners, and West Sytems toughened epoxy round out the handles. Finished to 2000 grit by hand. Very smooth and comfortable.
Thank you so much for your interest in my work! If you would like to own this knife, $125 PayPal FF will get her safely to your door in the lower 48 states. If you need to pay another way, please reach out. I will also consider trades for USA made folders in stainless steels.
Questions and comments always welcome and am more than happy to provide additional photos. Some good pics in natural light in sunny Ohio
Thanks,
John
