Food-safe oils for rust prevention?

I like to use camellia oil, been used on katanas in Japan for ages. Good for your skin and hair too I hear.

Is baby oil food safe? its what ive always used to rust protect my blades. just wondering if anyone knows thanks.

I've been known to wipe my blade on my forehead to get the grease on the edge to avoid rust.

That sounds better than wiping it along the snot-locker. :barf:

should be, baby oil is just mineral oil with perfume added.
