Porterhouse steak marinated in maple syrup, hoisin sauce, garlic and liquid smoke, then rubbed with pepper and steak seasoning, cooked with plum tree wood, and of course cut with infi!

I need to get me a fork made of infi for that extra bit of ballin'ness.

"ballin'ness"?

That steak looks delicious btw. Thanks for making me hungry!!! :grumpy::grumpy::grumpy:

I never heard of marinating in maple syrup. Did you use the real deal, or "table syrup"?

Damn, you just made me hungry:grumpy: Nice knife BTW:thumbup:;)

mmmm. everything tastes better when cut with infi:D. I use my meaner street for steak, I need a cultie.

wow I failed on the title. Food tastes BETTER with infi (duh)

I never heard of marinating with maple syrup either, but I decided to give it a shot and try something new and it turned out good. And yes, the real stuff :D

"ballin'ness" would be the noun form of ballin', and ballin' as in flossin', and no not the dental string. :P

sounds like an adjective to me,

but i dont know what flossin' means either. i assume it is a compliment?

im old.

LOL!

Yeah, I knew what I meant but I'll gladly take any opportunity to point out the ridiculousness of "rapper slang"...

:p:p:p

To be fair, I won't deny the cultural masterpieces that rap has contributed to society:

BLING BLING!

Oh dear. Talk about a RUINED steak. You do NOT do all that to a Porterhouse. Unless your last name is Applebee or something. WOW!

Lesser cut - yes. Do all of that and more. But a Porterhouse??? Leave it alone. Not even A1. Some salt is all it needs.

I agree, when cooking with meat like that simplicity is best. You folks need to come up here to Canada and experience the ecstasy that is Montreal Steak Spice. A little bit of that on a nice charred ribeye will change your life.
