I had this piece of 1095 laying around along with a slab of Dymondwood so I decided to make up a utility blade that would be suitable for a edc, hiking companion, small camp blade. The spine was claycoated to give it some spring and it was triple tempered. The edge tested out at 59-60 on the Rockwell C scale for hardness. It has drawn swedges on the modified clip/spear point blade with a needle sharp point. The antique finish RH sheath was made and fitted to this knife. It will hold this blade securely for a worry free carry an is included in the package.
AOL is 9 1/8 inches and the blade is 4 5/8 inches to front of scales. Steel is 3/16 thick.

I managed to bark the blade while finishing out the handle.

will get that leather dye off your hands. Personally, I'd use the alcohol to clean the hands while drinking the whiskey.
