I really like these new boots, but I hate the insoles. The last pair of super feet I had I didn't care for. any suggestions?

SPENCO!

When i was a machinist for 25 years I was on my feet 8 hours a day on concrete floors. The last ten yearswas made berable by Spenco inserts. I tried them all, but I'll swear by spenco's.

Couple different styles to choose from. Recomeded by podiatrists and orthopeiac doc's.:thumbup::thumbup:

I'll check those out. thanks

In my running shoes I trust Superfeet Greens, but in all my other shoes I find them to be WAY to hard. I really like the Dr. Scholls active insoles. They have medium arch support, good cushioning, and a great price tag. If you want a more contour fit, check out the Montrail Enduros. They are heat moldable, and will closely match the curves of your foot.

Spenco, the heavy duty backpacking ones. I buy them at Cabelas. About $30.00. Cheaper than going to a Podiatrist. I wear them every day and haven't had a foot problem or aching since. Been wearing them about two years.

I recommend the Montrail Enduro-Soles, they have a thick foam pad and a rigid plastic arch support. You place them in the oven and soften the plastic and foam and then wear them until they are cool. Its a perfect fit in less than 20 minutes! I have had mine for roughly a year now and they are still holding up great. http://www.mec.ca/Products/product_...older_id=2534374302734275&bmUID=1191516148266

hmm those look pretty cool. Will have to check those out. 2 votes for SPENCO's so far.

dang it. I'm leaning towards those spencos but I like the heat fitting of the others. someone make my decision for me please. lol

another vote for "Superfeet Green!" they are liked by many Jack, and I've seen em/gotten em for as little 23 usd. Just search around.

Sole ultra-cushion or whatever model they are. Bake in the oven for 2 minutes, put them in your boots and stand for 2 minutes, and you have the most long lasting comfort for almost any boot. including the canadian army issue mark 3's (made of plain leather and hockey pucks). I have 2 pairs I switch out in different boots: combats, deserts, the orange Viking saw-boots and big Sorel winter snow boots.

Spenco Ironman,arch support,gel pressure points,very nice indeed;I managed to pick up a pair at T K Maxx pretty cheap,lol.

Depends on what kind of foot you have, your gait, and how much you weigh.

If you're looking for pure cushion, Spenco is a good bet. Looks like the Polysorb and Gel models are their current cushion products.

If you need more support - have arch pain or tend to roll your foot inward - then you want to find something with a rigid arch support. I use superfeet, but Spenco arch supports would be good. SOLE is another brand that provides more support/structure but not much cushion.

Make sure your boots still fit well with whatever sock/insole combination you choose, or you'll be in a totally different world of hurt.

Well this is part of my problem, I don't really know what kind of feet I have. I'm not really that heavy but I'm pretty hard on my boots. My feel tend to roll outward.
