Glad they started the rivalry back, but I'm pretty worried about Saturday night. Clemson vs GA were always brutal affairs (even for the visiting fans at times). I've been to a few of those games.
 
Razorback fan checking in... Woooo Pig! Sooie!! My neighbor favors LSU (booo!), but he's otherwise a quite likeable fellow.

Alternatively, I root for the Buckeyes, since both my son-in-laws are from Ohio.

Anyways, Yay for FB season!

I wasnt there but I might as well have been cause I was listening to Munson;):D

I remember he broke his chair during one game. Clemson fans threw beer, and mugs...most anything they could find at him. It was and will most likely be a fierce rivalry again. I just know that I will have to sneak out of my house if Clemson wins cause my neighbor is a huge fan...I still cant believe I like him;):D

I'm so torn about tomorrow, its the first Ohio State game of the season but its also truck pull day at the fair. What to do, what to do?

I was at the 1984 game when Munson fell out of his chair. Kevin Bulter kicked a 60 yard field goal with 11 seconds left, and Munson got so excited he fell. People on the radio didn't know if it was good or not for several seconds.

Yea, the Clemson fans were known for throwing things(like you said, beer mostly, but whatever they could find) during those games in the 80's. They got treated pretty bad when they came to Athens, but the guy I went with said it was much worse there. He said anyone with GA colors on would get pasted with something. He tried to get me to go into death valley, and I told him no way. I would've wound up hurt or in jail.

Hahaha! Spoken like a true fan, and I certainly respect that.

Hopefully you'll understand if I continue to call them Hogs... Heck I'm a third generation alumni (attended at U of A, although I finished elsewhere), so it's a little late in the game to be changing allegiance :D
 
1 1/2 hours until the first game :D I will be receiving ESPN text updates on my phone all day long :thumbup:
 
PIGSKIN time is Back!!! Break out the CRACKLING & BEER. I don't care if it's a Hog, steer, hawk, mountainer, bulldog, duck whatever. Love the game.

I am with you on that one! Regardless of the team, the game is fun to watch :thumbup: It's not like we really NEED another reason to drink but hey. . . football is definitely one of those reasons I use during the fall :D
