For 110 collectors - there is a build out dropping on 2/5

Looking at the pics on their site, I believe it is a screw together. The only difference from the original is the color of the rocker pin and the blade/thumb studs.

You can see the torx screws in the pic.

It's a nice knife. 👍
I prefer the original blade type tho.

H Happy Hippo Thank You for the heads up. I like the clip point look alot better than modified clip. I will be picking up a couple for sure.

Also wondering if this is a slim handle. I assumed it were however, this is intersting... "Weighing in at 7.75 ounces, this 110 Folding Hunter has a reassuring, substantial feel that speaks to its durability"

The Slim Pro TRX models are listed as 3.3 oz on Bucks site.

I would say 7.75 may be a typo as the original brass/ebony 110s come in at 7.2 oz.

It has to be a typo but I’m curious as well. I would assume if it were a slim it would be in the name somewhere. I do like the traditional blade though, I’m just really wondering if it’s a slim.

Traditional clip point and nail nick instead of the overly large and prone to loosen thumbstuds.

I got a 112 slim pro(?) here in the forums a few years back in black g10 with the s30v blade, straight clip. I am glad it does not have the screws, I would royally mess it up if I took it apart and reassembled it.😀

I would buy a 112 version of this... I like the old Slim TRX line, but disliked the type of thumb studs they had. This version solves that for me.

I agree. I have a 112 Slim TRX, and I don't know what possessed them to put those gargantuan thumb studs on them. Mine would get carried a lot more if it wasn't for them. A few times I've had the studs catch on my pocket hem, when taking it out, and partially open the blade. Not good! I have several knives with thumb studs, and that has never happened with any of the others. The studs on the Slim Select line are just fine.

Me too, but it's because I am a 112 collector not a 110 collector. I do buy the occasional 110 but I won't be buying this one. I just made the thread because I know there are a lot of 110 users and collectors out there.

I have the titanium one that I got for a good clearance price. Buck's S45vn is great and really like it as a "classier" Buck... But I'd strongly consider blade swapping a 112 version of this, just to get away from the thumb "balls" :D
