For all observers, "Observe this"!

I've often wondered what it would be like to handle a Busse. Busse fans seem very loyal to their knives, which is a sign of a premium product. I live about 60 minutes from Wauseon, and considered calling them to see if I can stop by to handle one of their knives. I don't think they have a storefront, but they seem like nice enough folks and might allow me to handle a knife in person. Well, you don't know until you ask anyway.

I would be shocked if they said "no", and would jump at the opportunity to do exactly what you propose, if only to meet some real good folks.

If I wasn't running behind schedule, I would have stopped by the Freedom Arms plant last summer when I was passing through on my way to Yellowstone. I would have loved to have seen that place too!!!

No way, whatRya, nutz???????????????? LOL ...Actually, when I get settled into my new place, I want to have a couple of big chopping stumps or logs at my house for yakking over while hacking away at something with some of my Busse's. I'll extend an open offer then for some of y'all to stop by and use one on the stump, hack away and get a feel for it.:thumbup: I'll be in the metro Philadelphia, PA. area, and settled in at the new place before I leave for BLADE, in June. :D

To heck with the stump..... let's head to the woods for some fun..... maybe out in Bucks Co. and/or near the Delaware. LOL :D

Next time the wolf ventures to this part of the PA, it would be cool to come by and beat on a FBM.

Offer is good in Western NC as well. I'm in Boone, work in Lenoir, have family in Lincolnton & Shelby.

I'm perfectly willing to play knife beat down with anybody in the central Ohio area as well. Hell, I don't even care if you are a newcomer.

Andy, as far as I know, unless Jerry has changed it, Busse is a closed shop, no visitors allowed. Now that doesn't mean you couldn't talk someone into meeting you for lunch, on you of course, so you could handle a blade or two. :) You never know until you ask though. :D

Anyone in the New Orleans or Baton Rouge area or passing through....drop me a line!

I think you're right. I recall reading that somewhere on this forum. Well, maybe I'll luck out and catch a Busse product on a passaround. :)

Have a few I have not used yet myself. Got a HR on the way though that I plan to put to use. If in N. GA come on by.

And for any haters that think the above gestures are only because of recent comments.... Hogs have been givers for a while. Case in point?

i totally agree with you on this one

Anyone wandering through my neck of the woods is welcome to come throw a tomahawk and try a swing or two with the HH, until I get a FBM.
To any of the folks I've had regular communication with here on BF, I have a couple tent sites and a big firepit. I'm working on a debris shelter area, as well as outdoor survival skills areas on my property. Anyway, beers cold, INFIs choppin' and my mind's a mobbin'.
If you think you're going to be near my area of the Puget Sound, send me an email.
