I just got this in the mail for under 30$ shipped. It is hair popping sharp, 8cr13mov, g10 ,flipper and full steel liners. It's like a kershaw tremor on steroids. I'm pretty impressed by how robust this is. No play in any direction. It has what looks like to me to be over 4mm blade stock. If you want a ZT or coldsteel beater alternative....Bad blood knives spiraling demise

Bad Blood gives their knives interesting names.

I like that blade stock thickness, but if the liner thickness is less than half that of the blade stock, I begin to have doubts.

I'm going to watch what Bad Blood does, because I think they have the potential to make some good knives. But I'm not ready to put my money up, yet.

Killer deal. Let us know how it holds up.

Hmmm I am sure that the majority of knives have liner locks that are less then half the blade stock.. But I agree with the rest of the post.

The spiraling demise is an awesome knife. Heavy, sha, big, and built like a tank. He pole ax, check out the fire spitter, it's a 9.63 tank . There both my EDC. I honestly couldn't belive the quality, tight tolerances and attention to detail.. I love mine, I've been EDC the Firespitter I want a ZT 350 but dont have the funds. This has more than fit the bill..spiraling demise is just as hardcore. Thick blade sharp and scary ashell.

The spiraling demises blade Is
4.02MM or .160 thousands

The fire spitter is
At its thickest spot is .161 thousands. This sucker is a hog..
Or 4.02MM

Sorry bout that putting that non paying dealer add up. wont happen again...

Oh fer cryin' out loud....now we have "liner snobs" passing judgment?

Poleaxe -

Nice score on the knife!

Not to mention that I have yet to see very many knives with a liner lock half as thick as the blade. I don't think that even the ZT 0200 has a liner half as thick as the blade. Infact the only knife I can think of that the liner is that thick would be the Ontario Retribution 1.

Without having one in my hand I would say its worth 30 bucks!! Gotta be better than that Gerber!!

The liners on CRKT's folding Razels is pretty close to the thickness of the blade. I don't have pictures, but I own both sizes.

I'm not just a "liner snob", I'm a lock snob! If a company wants my money, lock design, grip shape, blade shape, all have to be something I like. This is why I don't buy many knives.

I apologize for straying off-topic. Thanks for looking, and I'm going to close my mouth (you know what I mean) now.

Liner locks, like everything else, are only as strong as their weakest point. If there has to be a cutout towards the bottom so that people can unlock it than all the extra thickness is doing is providing a bit more contact are with the blade tang, which can be useful but will mostly just help to avoid the lock 'cheating' to one side or the other. So making a liner as thick as the blade stock is doing far more to increase the weight of the knife than the integrity of the lock.

Thats funny right there. i dont care who ya are...

There both tanks, My next purchase is gonna be either the Nano fixed blade, or the Harbinger folder. I love these knives.
1 note though, the Spiraling demise is a pain in the arse to sharpen.

I have 2 DMT sharpeners and also a bunch of Norton stones. 4 diffrent gritts, and i still cant keep a sharp edge on it. It didnt come wiked sharp like the FireSpitter. thats one of the more easy ones to sharpen.
