For all you hillbillies

so them i can expect some at one of the upcoming forging sessions....mmmm

i may have to trade ya some more 1084 for food ,instead of w2......hehehe

hehehe.....im big enough, and so far strong as need be, but surely dont think i need to grow in the waist line anymore....im pushing 200# as it is

Okay, I'll bite.... What the hell does this mean??? LOL :)

nothing really, birdog's wife is just a hell of a good cook, she makes i'd say 95% of everything they eat from scratch ....home-cook'en...mmmm

Eat'en up at there place for lunch or dinner when we get together to forge is deffinitley worthy of some steel....or anything for that matter, thats one reason i never go up there empty handed......i'd feel guilty , cause i never come home with an empty stomach....which is part of the reason i put about 30lbs on in the last year:eek:

ramps are like wild onions or leeks, and im pretty sure there not out very long throughout the year.....good stuff in salads, or soups, heck even with scrambled eggs. my dad use to pick them when i was a kid, aint ate them for a long time.

btw i mean it when i say they make darn near everything from scratch....heck they even make there own mustard and ketchup.

Ahhh, now it makes sense. Never had "ramps" but I like 'nions and leeks, so I'd be happy to try 'em if I had a chance. I'm definitely down with home cookin'. My girlfriend has me "whupped" for several reasons, and her cooking is dang sure one of them.

Ahhhhh... okay... now I get it! :)

That's really cool Andrew. I used to hay for a family that would ALWAYS provide a dinner at the end of a long day of bucking bales just like you're talking about... all from scratch. I don't know about making the condiments though! Man, that's hardcore! :)

For a minute, those posts were reminding me of the "Asian" lady on Mad TV (Miss Swan) "He look'a like'a man. He big. He strong. He look'a like'a man." :D

(couldn't help it) ;) :)

Damn straight. Workin' your butt off and getting fed well is good for the soul. :) The older I get, the less I eat, but I'm much pickier about quality. I'd rather have just homemade bread and fresh butter than a big pile of "pizza" from some chain outfit :barf:

I read it and didn't understand what the hell "ramps" were but I'm a redneck not a hillbilly so didn't think this thread pertained to me.

got poppy comming up for dinner...pizza and wings, but were gonna discuss the location of the stash down slaughter hollow

He'll know where they are. Tell him exactly what I told you.

IG would like these things!!!!

There ain't no hills here but, we eat onions all the time. In eggs with bbq with sammiches, chorizo, etc... So does this make me a redneck meskin or a meskin hillbilly????

your alright pancho, i'll go with meskin hillbilly, dont consider yourself a redneck like will.....lol, hell im all the above, almost,
