For all you Khukuri owners, what is your favorite pistol and rifle for a bug out kit?

Just wondering, I feel that if one loves the Khukuri, one might like guns also. I was wondering if you had a bug out kit, what handgun and rifle would you include? To start things, my HK Mark 23 in .45, a Glock 34, and my CZ75 with the .22 LR conversion kit. For a rifle my first pick is my FN/FAL Congo.

For behind the truck seat, it's simple. All I want is everything. With spares, of course.

I favor my .357 Mag in a Ruger Security Six that has been nicely and professionally "worked on."
In single action mode you neve know whenit goes off,so is a good reason not to put your finger in the guard unless you mean it to fire!
I have two other fine little weapons. An old SMLE and a .357 Mag Marlin lever action with foldable buckhorn sights. If you shoot a rabbit in the back of the head with it all you have o do is skin em.Surprised me when I did that once.I hate cleaning entrails out of rabbits or anything else.

Maybe one of Rusty's super .400's would eliminate that with deer.(vbeseg)

If you mix milk of magnesia with vodka and orange juice do you get a phillips screwdriver?

Khukuri FAQ

I don't have a bug out kit. My bug out kit would include a light 22 mag. rifle, maybe one of the new Remingtons. A Lee Enfield No.5, (Jungle Carbine) would be nice but ammunition and weight might be a problem.

Since I am from Canada, I don't get a handgun.

The new mini-14 all weather with pre-ban magazines is a good way to go. 5.56x45 (223) is very light to carry and the rifle is light and thin. I put holes in 3/8" plate steel with this round. Also, Glock has a very good reputation. The model 26 in 9mm using Win. 115 sthp is the best bet. It's small in size. I've done plenty of tests with all types of material. (wood, steel, and etc.)

Aiyyyeeeeeee...

I must have started a reply and changed my mind and deleted before posting ten times now.

Whatever's handy.

What gun in my hand? Why absolutely none.

Will, if I had to run for the hills I would wish to appear just another sheeple not worth being sheared til after the better pickings have been plucked.

They hopefully won't notice the shrouded bodyguard that can be fired thru the coat pocket. Nor previous trips with junk in the back of the truck.

I have been pretty good at anticipating. It would hopefully be heading to a specific cache and a preselected hide.

Fact is, I live in a small town with a fairly polite society, a goodly number Mormon, and a general attitude 50 years behind the times. Immediately after an emergency, the impolite and terminally stupid would be subject to an enhanced natural selection process, i.e. a second chance to be dumb would be a chance exception. I don't think I'd be heading anywhere.
