Does any one know what kind of glue to use for attaching wooden scales onto a SAK? Is regular gorrila/super glue okay or do I need some special concoction?

Use some 5-minute epoxy. Relief the inside of the scale to cover the brass collars and drop a small blob of 5 minute epoxy over the contact points. Warp a rubber-band around it and let it cure.

all of those will work but most knife makers do not use the fast setting epoxies but tend to favor marine grade epoxy
