For CA residents, Sikhs to be allowed FB conceal carry

The knife pictured is not a traditional kirpan. It is a subhilt fighter. Jot Singh Khalsa makes knives other than traditional Sikh blades. As for separation of church and state, this is a case where we actually have a law that says that you can't interfere with the someone's practice of their religion, even if you don't like it and even if it involves they concealed carrying of something that the sheeple consider to be a weapon. It has nothing to do with the establishment of an official or preferred religion. But instead of being happy for our knife toting Sikh brethren, some of you choose to cast aspersions on them and whine about how they are getting special treatment. Well, they ARE getting "special" treatment as they should because carrying the kirpan is to them like taking communion for a Catholic, praying 5 times a day facing Mecca for Muslims or wearing the yarmulkah for conservative Jews. The fact of the matter is that this law should not even be necessary, but now that it is on the books, good for the Sikhs!!! Yet another small victory for the good guys. What we have here is a law that says when it comes to knives and religious pratcice, there is no such thing as "reasonable regulation" A step in the right direction IMO.
