This is a Knife concept that I have sent drawings to Mr.Chris & Mrs.Anne, I have asked them to Make one for me. I know in the past that they have made custom blades for others. I wanted to get you guys thoughts on this knife. I have named it "OPSAC" (On Person Survival And Combat) knife. It is my dream CRK.
Thanks!

WOW!!! That is a nice design. If that knife is made I will definitely get one. Well done. :D

I'm with the rest of the group, love the design, want one of those myself. Email CRK and tell them if they put it into production you've already got a small but rapidly growing market for it.

Cool, very cool... based a bit on Ubejane. I like it! However, I'm pretty sure what the answer will be :D

I really like the design of the blade. My only drawback is handle length. I would need a full length handle. Maybe a large and small version like with most other CRK fixed blades. Nice job!

I'm not to sure but I think that they will be interested, and I do feel that they will make it. I'm not saying that I have any better relationship with Mr. Chris and Mrs. Anne than anyone else, but I will say that I have been a customer not dealer of theirs for about 16 or 17 years now. I have never been treated so well by anyone. They are the top of the line when it comes to their customers needs and have always been willing to work with me in any way they could. I have carried a Chris Reeve Knife all over the world. My Shadow IV until it was lifted had been on my side on parachute jumps and into the swamps of South Carolina hunting wild boar and had saved my rear more than once, most recently my Green Beret has seen the mountains of Afghanistan and the sands of Iraq. I really do hope they will make at least one. I’ll keep my fingers crossed. :D

I thought it looked familliar. That looks like a very nice and functional knife.

Yea!
I almost called it a baby Ubejane, But its as big as a Ubejane so that was out. I had a Ubejane once and it is 1 awesome knife but I need something a little more suited as a do anything knife, not that the Ubejane want. The OPSAC knife's tip would be thicker all the way to the point and as you can see the OPSAC has a thumb ramp and a lower cross-guard. The handle should be as round and a Shadow IV and as long. I really did not have one to draw by. If Mr.Chris will produce it I will make a few changes. I would love to have an Aviator type pancake sheath with a pouch for a DMT hone add.here's a pic of what I'm talking about. I just want a over all working knife that you would have on your side out of the way all the time. If I ever need to drop my gear and E&E I would always have my OPSAC knife by my side. I want to add a SAS Brass mini compass inside the cap and a round mag. fire starter and a few other items in the handle.

Recondo..
I have a Shadow III. Is that the model you meant, not the IV which has 5.5' blade? Really neat OPSAC idea, just wondering if you meant it to be as small as the Shadow III, short handle, or longer handle as in the rest of the fb line? I see by the drawing you have 4.5" handle. Also where did you get pancake holster with sharpener pouch? Did you have it done? That would be a way cool addition to a good knife outfit.
cheers

The Aviator and that cool sheath are not mine. It belongs to Ken. The pouch was done by a friend, but it is just right for that sheath. :D
