Are you saying some were actually stamped "122" when they went to 3 lines?Prior, to 1972 mfg. the knives were the same. After that one can certainly tell which model it is. DM

The Nemo was promoted as a dive knife. Were no concessions made in blade steel to compensate for salt water? Still a HC blade?
Joe Houser's article in the Dec. 2006 newsletter said that there may be some three line stamped 122s from '72 but that they were stamped that way in '73 when it was reintroduced.
