SOLD TO jwaj, THANKS ALL
Hi folks -
Up for sale is my Michigan Trail Knife in Walnut from JK Handmade Knives.
All of the money for this sale will be sent to John to benefit his granddaughter, Hanna, who has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia.
Knife details -
Michigan Trail Knife (jds1 design) 8" oal, 3 3/4" blade, 1/8" thick, Walnut Scales
Knife does not comes with a custom sheath, I did make one (in pictures) for it but I'm no craftsman, as you can see.
It has been put in and out of new leather while I was working on the sheath, and I imagine I did a paper cut test, that's it. I put a lot of thought into what I could do/sell for this cause, and I think selling my only unused JK is the best way to go - inspired by other forum members to give up something that I truly value. It has picked up some light marks from being pushed in and pulled out of new leather while I made the sheath, but you have to hold it at just the right angle to see it.
This knife was designed by forum member JDS1 and has been so popular it has become a staple member of JK's line up. It was one of the first designs that caught my eye when I started looking at JK knives, finally having held it, I can say I am not disappointed. This is a great design with comfort and use in mind, a go to knife made to last a lifetime.
I'm selling it for $145 SOLD TO jwaj, shipped and insured. (Paypal gift, or + 3% please)
Please - no trades or offers - this is for Hanna's benefit.
