*****CORRECTION - THIS IS A CK&T NOT CRKT. I love this forum.*****

I bought this a long time ago, looked at it, opened and closed it a few times and put it away feeling I had a nice little classic. I look at it about every three years or so.

It's just a great knife, right down to the(reverse?) Tanto blade, the SV30 steel and the black coating. Kershaw has come out with other Randoms but none like this one made in affiliation with Columbia River Knife & Tool.* (see correction)

So what do you think of it and please correct me if I've made any errors

Thanks, I'll post the pics when I figure out how to do it.

Hadn't heard of a CRKT Leek before. And I don't think Ken Onion started designing for CRKT until after he separated from Kershaw. Are you sure it is a Leek model?

Just saw the pics. That's not a CRKT Leek. It's a Kershaw Leek made for Chesapeake Knife & Tool (see this post). Anyways, that's an awesome knife you've got there.

My favorite of the Random Leeks is the G10 one:

It is a Leek model; what it isn't is a CRKT. Note the logo on the blade: CK&T. This means Cutters Knife and Tool.

Thanks for straightening me out on the Chesepeake Knife & Tool aspect. No wonder I couldn't find a CRKT reference. DUH! I feel like an idiot. But I do love this knife.

Hey Mike- no worries -

Great looking knife - and one well worth keeping nice! Thanks for the pictures - and flarp - thanks for the info!

Flarp,

The more I looked at your G-10, the more I liked it.

So I went to ebay where they had around 500 Leeks listed ... but not one like your G-10.

I guess I'll just have to keep my eyes open.

That one is the 1660TG10, which was a limited run done a couple of years ago. Looks like there may have only been 300 or so for sale (see this thread). I'd expect they are long since sold out from the dealers, but if you keep an eye open on the secondary markets, you might get lucky. Good hunting!
