Mete, I would very much like to email you a *.JPG of an analysis sheet. In hand writting the tech. wrote 1070 on it. The carbon content is 0.742%. I believe this high for 1070. It also has other elements that I would like your overall opinion on. I was asked to HT a blade made of this steel. It is for a charitable cause so I accepted. Before doing so I want your opinion of this steel so that I might have a better understanding of my HT procedure. I will also be doing a stress relieve. Recommendations on stress relieve temperature and soak temperature will be most appreciated. I no longer have your email address. Can you please give me that via email? I am okay on QRZ.com (KD8BZY).
