This forum makes the folks from the Star Wars Cantina look downright tame. It's like being on the staff of the funny farm. You get to associate with people just like yourself except you get to go home at the end of the day!

Woke up this morning thinking of an exchange in an Andrew M. Greeley book in which a young man keeps being included/adopted as Irish by the Chicago Irish until he erupts with "But I'm not Irish, my mother was from the highlands of Scotland!" To which he gets told "Ah, and aren't they the worst kind of Irish?"

If HI forumites are a family, and nephews to Uncle Bill, wouldn't that make us either brothers or cousins? I have no problem with calling Yvsa or Mohd brother, but lately I'd feel more comfortable explaining Cougar as my crazy cousin especially after some of his latest comments. (wink)
