FOR SALE: Black Pearl Slip Joint folder by The Ghostmaker.


This little slip joint folder has a 2 7/8" stainless ladder Damascus blade
with carved pearls along the back. With a 6 3/8" open length, it sports
beautiful Black lip scales with a rainbow effect and German silver bolsters
with nugget engraving front and rear. Silver pins are engraved with cherry
blossoms, stainless dual back springs with left-right flame file work
outside, egg and spike inside, and the Ghostmakers mark to finish her off.

I made my first folder in about 1995 and I can and have forged carbon damascus, but this is Mike Norris stainless damascus...I have been useing mikes steel for blades since about 1996 or 97 I think. I have ground hundreds of blades from his steel and it is top knotch! I have only made about 5-6 slip joints in my 18 years as a maker....but I may have to make more!

Only five or six:eek: Your work is awesome. I'd take that in a heartbeat if I had the money. That is gorgeous.
 
Thank you Richard, There are some I truely wish I could put away in my safe, and this is one of them! I'm glad you got to pick up one of my slip joints...I don't make many.

This is absolutely beautiful, the perfect combination of colors and materials. The perfect mix of elegance and function as well. Duplicate this knife and you'll sell at least one more...to me. :)
