First I'll take it for the win. PP accepted add 3% to price.

Does the Sightmark laser have the option of removing the pressure pad and adding a conventional tail cap?

I'm assuming you had this on an AR. Any idea how this would hold up on a shotgun?

Ken C - Yes this was on an AR. I would have no issue with putting it on a shotgun due to the Burris warranty. In fact I thought about putting it on our truck gun, a 12 guage Mossberg that we shoot slugs out of, but the thought of putting this glass on a gun that sits behind the seat of the ranch truck and rust was to much $ to let go of. It is great at shotgun ranges, especially for turkeys. I was able to keep 10 rounds rapid fire from a bench at 100yrds under 5" and standing under 8" with no issue. Total this scope has had about 50 rds of 223 through it.

Duh - I am thinking the scope- yes the laser was on an AR- I never thought to put it on a shotgun. If you were using one for home defense or 3 gun then I think it would work. I see a few on some 3 gun set ups vs a scope or red dot site. I know you can see the laser very well during the day at well past 100yrd.
