BHQ listing (pretty sure the original owner bought this exact one - it even has the speck of 'missing' ano near the pivot if you zoom in): https://www.bladehq.com/item--Sharp-By-Design-Hurricane-Flipper--51328

Alright folks, looking to move the most expensive/coveted knife in my collection as a sort of 'last hurrah' - won't be buying anything new for at least a solid few months to recoup some unexpected bills, so I thought I'd mix things up before I take my hiatus.

PLEASE NOTE: I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SELL OR REFUSE SALE AS I SEE FIT. I WILL ONLY TRADE WITH USERS THAT HAVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK OR MULTIPLE REFERENCES. PRICE INCLUDES FEES AND SHIPPING.

I present to you today my Sharp by Design Hurricane (rated A- for condition). Rating is due to being the second owner - first owner carried it once or twice, I treated it as a safe queen. I spent a good while chasing this knife, a good while indeed; those of you who are SBD/Nadeau fans know that these pop up very rarely (this is the only one I ever saw for sale during my time in this hobby). Knife is in immaculate condition; the machining, F&F, and overall quality are exceptional. Centering is a hair to the show side, lockup is of bank-vault quality (it does have a bit of stick, especially when gripped hard - seems like it's still breaking in), and the edge is original. The only sign of wear is a tiny, *tiny* bit on the edge of the pocket clip - I did my best to picture it, but it's incredibly faint. There is also a pinhead of missing ano near the pivot, but it came like that from Bryan based on the original listing.

The only less-than-stellar element of this knife is the detent - it's just fine. It's not a rocket like other Nadeau knives, and requires a strong flick/push on the flipper - otherwise, it needs a bit of wrist. I spoke to Bryan about this, and he said that the action slows down due to the heavy blade; he would, however, be happy to strengthen the detent a bit if desired. In terms of the action itself, it is *extremely* smooth. You can't feel the individual bearings rolling at all, and it closes with a shake or two.

Knife comes with signature hard case.

Sale value: $650. Trade value: $700
