I think the thin handles have something to do with that. This reinforces that I need to take a healthy deposit on custom orders, or stop taking them altogether.

Healthy deposit would definitely weed out the flakes without cutting you off from a potential client base. I say enact a policy, put it in writing and sticky that sucker! Save yourself the frustration...

They get put away. They might come back out for sale at a later date, or I sometimes do an auction on here.
