I've got mixed emotions about putting this outstanding sword up for sale. It is the only all custom sword that I own and was built by a VERY talented young smith whose prices I expect will only go up as he becomes more widely known. However, I've got other things in the pipeline an this is the one sword that does not really mesh with the rest of my collection so in the final analysis it is the one that had to go.

Here are the vital statistics:

Hilt - 14 1/2 "
Blade - 37 1/2"
Overall Length - 52 "
Weight - 4.2 lbs
Point of Balance - 4 1/2" from guard
Point of Percussion - 22" from guard
Gripp - Curly Maple with leather spacers
Guard and Pommel - Blued mild steel
Blade - Crucible L6

As you can see it is a very BIG sword. Jake called it a bastard but it's really a two hander. However for all that it is still quick and feels much lighter then its seemingly massive 4+ lb weight. It should be noted that the blade is L6 which when properly heat treated is an extremely tough sword steel.

This sword has only been used to cut light targets and is in absolutely pristine condition with no nicks, scratches or other blemishes.

I am asking 1500 dollars for this piece shipped (CONUS international buyers will have to pay the difference in CONUS shipping and international) but am willing to consider reasonable offers.

I can be contacted through private message here or through my email.

Thanks for looking.

That's got to be some kind of record for biggest damn blade ever sold on the forums. :D Very nice - congrats to the new owner.

This is a very nice piece, there are some very knowledgeable people at sword forums international. You would probably make the day for some lucky buyer.

Take care
