I was lucky enough to get one of the 25 "Electric" knives made by the classic JBF Cutlery & Sons with collaboration w. Esnyx.
From the website:
The team at JBF Champlin & Sons Cutlery are very excited to announce the next release in our
ongoing series of Champlin knives. This will be a short run of 25, all hand crafted and produced
in collaboration with the talented custom knife maker, Evan Nicolaides from Sarasota Florida.
Evan has designed these Stepped Barlows with a single clip blade made of CPM 154 Stainless steel
and marked with the Electric Cutlery trade mark. And yes, the chamfered handles will be
crafted from the historic rosewood that was harvested from the old Cattaraugus factory
building in Little Valley, NY. They will be 3.5 inches long when closed.
This is a very rare piece up for sale. I paid $350 almost 5 months ago and received it just 2 weeks ago, so I'm asking $385 NET via PayPap (includes shipping) - The folks at JBF Champlin don't have another knife lined up yet, so I imagine it will be awhile. It's a beautiful knife and the Rosewood handles from the burnt down factory are where the true value is. The knife comes in excellent packaging, with a COA, playing card, and box with "Electric" stamped on top. The blade leans slightly to the left however there's no rub. The knife is very slender. Pics below (apologies for the poor quality):
*I reserve the right to sell any of my knives to whom I choose, however the first to comment below "I'll take it" and follow up with a PM will get it 99% of the time.
