The removable anatomical footbed is cushioned, eliminating shock from the impact of walking and the innovative patented shock-absorber sole ensures effective protection for the joints, vertebra and spine from damaging shocks and vibrations. The soft latex foam padding prevents pinching and rubbing at the instep and below the ankle. Waterproof constuction provides protection from the elements.
Fit: This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

I cautiously disagree with the size comment. I wear a 10 and found these to be perfect in that respect but too narrow for my ever widening foot
