This Norwegian Langsax ( named Thorgrim) was hand forged from 1080 and 15N20 steel with a tool steel edge. It measures just under 32 inches long with a 25 inch long blade. The balance point is 6 inches in front of the guard and it weighs approximately 2.5 lbs. The scabbard is hand carved from walnut with antiqued copper and brass fittings. The guard and pommel areloosely based off of the Sutton Hoo sword find and are made of stainless steel and brass fitted together with copper pins and antiqued. The handle is carved Indian Rosewood. This project took 72 hours to complete and every piece was made by hand by me.

The price is $2,000 and includes shipping. Only serious offers considered, the first person to let me know will receive the sword.



 
If I hadn't splurged that money on a Vince Evans sword recently, I'd be all over it... don't suppose you'd do trades of any sort? That is gorgeous.
