First off, I'm not really looking to have to ship these so let's try to keep this in California Bay Area. I realize that's a bit restrictive, but there's a lot going on with these bikes and I cannot possibly describe them as well as seeing them in person could do. Also, I don't really look forward to having to take them down and ship them out (the SX is 43 lbs by itself haha, and both bikes have disc brakes that are a pain to take apart). I'm located in the San Jose area for what it's worth.
Now on to the bikes themselves.
The SX trail is a 2007 with Shimano Saint rear derailleur running 1x9. Kore pedals, and I believe a Fox Talas front fork but I could be wrong. I've been too busy for biking for the past couple years and haven't been keeping up with bikes as of late. I bought the bike as it is now back in 2009 and haven't done anything to it except fixing a snag in the rear derailleur wiring. Shifts perfectly. Brakes are unknown but they stop on a dime and are easy to bleed, even by yourself. Same story with the rear suspension, I can't remember what it is. Heads up though, they run on mineral oil and not regular brake fluid. I can through in my bleed kit for no extra charge since I won't need it anymore. It was used when I got it and I rode it summer of 2010 and 2011 out in Santa Cruz. Never abused though, the bike was better than I was so I never took it to its limits. Asking $800 or any reasonable offers.

The Rockhopper I bought used two summers ago in 2011 and rode it for that summer and used it as an occasional commuter 2012 and 2013. This past year it sat outside most of the year since I lived in a third floor apartment with no elevator. As such, there is a bit of rust/varnish on the stanchions as well as a severely rusted chain. It definitely needs to be chained if you want to ride this hard. On to the components. It is pretty much stock, only thing I changed out was the seat and pedals. Has SRAM X4 rear derailleur and I think a Shimano Altus Front Derailleur. Suntour front shocks and SRAM X3 shifters. Asking $300 but will consider reasonable offers.
Yeah the chain has seen better days. Stil runs but is pretty jumpy.
Last up is some tires. WTB Prowler 2.5's. Bought them to use on the SX Trail but had such a hard time getting the current tires on and off I decided I would run those until they were bare. Have two of them, selling them as a set, will not break them up. Asking $30 alone, or take them for free if you take the SX Trail as well.
