This is my S.U.B. II, the smaller version of the S.U.B. (Survival Utility Bushcraft), and is designed to be a buschcraft/EDC blade. I know a lot of people want their bushcraft blades in carbon steel, but I did a couple in 440C because I don’t like rust and it’s a good steel that I like and use a lot, so I trust it. I also offer them in O1 and CPM 154.

The handle is green linen micarta, and is full thickness for better control. The scales are made from 3/8” thick micarta. I use Corby bolts and epoxy, so the handle isn’t coming off. Stainless lanyard tube. Sheath is fully formed 8 oz. leather, and it locks in quite nicely.

Blade is mildly convex ground, with a V edge. Satin finish on the blade and handle, and the spine is squared for striking a firesteel. Edge is right at .015” before sharpening, so is designed more for slicing than batonning cinder blocks, although I have no doubt it will split kindling and such just fine. Professionally heat treated, including cryo.
