I managed to get lucky when the Green Para2's came out and managed to snag one of the collectors from one of the dealers that got the collector numbers. I figured since I hadn't had to deal with the long waits and surprise sale that I would use this knife for all of us at bladeforums and sent the knife off to Ankerson so the CTS 204P steel could be tested. Sent it out the day I got it because why not, and just got the knife back and I have found out I don't much care for the PM2. Go figure. Welp, my loss can be your gain. This knife has been used (duh) but not abused. No longer has the factory edge, but it was sharpened before it was sent back to me. There is also a small mark just below the Spyderco bug on the blade (will be shown in pics) but since it's a user, I don't think that matters much. Clip has also been switched from stock to tip up orientation. Flips open fast but could use some adjustment if you want to flick it faster. I can't do a middle finger flick for example but I don't do that often either so I don't mind. Lastly, my eyesight is not the best but it appears to be off-center just a smidge to the non-locking side. I'll leave that for you to decide. Not in any hurry to offload this either, it isn't comfortable but I do like the 204P steel so I'm not desperate to sell it, and the asking price does reflect that a bit. I'd like to get $250 TYD. If you want it, first one with an unconditional "I'll take it" in the thread with a follow-up email will get priority. It's Gone. Closing this down.

Now it's time for pictures.

Here's everything you get. Box, papers, baggie, and a silica gel pac.

Correct box, as you can see. It is Collectors Club #130, if that matters to you.

Here is the scratch or smudge I talked about earlier. If you can't see it, find the Spyderco Bug Emblem and follow the grind lines down and you should find it.

I would be open to trades with cash either way if we both agree to it. My trade interests would be Spyderco Lil Temp, Captain, Lum Tanto (folder or fixed), Michael Walker. I'll edit in more if I think of them.

Now on to my disclaimers. Payment should be made through either USPS Money Order or Paypal. Prices include shipping and insurance and PayPal Fees, and I will ship with USPS once I receive payment. I'd prefer to keep this in the US as well, unless you are willing to add more for shipping costs (I can get a quote from the USPS if you want so we can figure out a fair price depending on where you are). By responding to this ad, you agree that you are over the age of 18 and can legally own the knife in question in your jurisdiction, I am not responsible for knowing or following the laws in your jurisdiction, that is on you. I have the right to halt and reverse any sale wherever it may be if I feel you are under the age of 18 (or for any other reason) and may require you to show ID if I have any concerns. The first unconditional "I'll take it" in this thread with a follow-up email will have priority. If you have any questions feel free to PM or email me.

Thanks for looking!

Do you mind explaining what the testing showed? Thanks.

Sorry I should have been more clear, it was just a test of the steels cutting ability. Ankerson has been testing an ranking the steels for quite some time now and has them all compiled in one thread http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...based-on-Edge-Retention-cutting-5-8-quot-rope

So it wasn't anything that would change the blade significantly such as hardness testing just a measure of cutting ability.
