I work as an attorney, and Buck Woodard is a client of mine. He paid me in knives and, while I greatly appreciate his craft, I'd rather see them go to someone who will enjoy them for what they are -- a great automatic!
I've been in his shop, and the most amazing thing is how he sharpens these knives. He has a belt sander with three wheels (runs in a triangular fashion) and, with a steady hand, he applies the edge using finer and finer diamond grits.
I have embedded two photos to this ad, and the photos contain three knives in the following order from top to bottom:
1. The first knife is a Fer de Lance that Buck made last October. The handle contains a conglomerate of red, yellow, orange, and black. The blade is black, and it comes with a nylon Woodard belt-loop sheath. It is in new condition. I have never used it to cut anything. Condition is mint. Price: SOLD.
2. The second knife is also a Fer de Lance. Buck made it for me in 2007. The handle is a red and black camouflage with a highly-polished blade. Buck told me that the high-polish is labor intensive, and that he isn't making these anymore. I've only used it to cut some packing tape once. Sheath included. Condition is excellent. Price: SOLD.
3. The third knife is a "Naked Lady" Pocket Pro. Handle is red, and the blade is a high-polish. Condition is a half-point less than excellent. If you look at the second photo, you may see an itty-bitty faux paux on the edge of the handle adjacent to the extended blade. It is de minimus. Still, an excellent piece. No sheath. Price: SOLD.
Shipping will be by Fed Ex, and I will share equally in the cost of shipping and insurance with the buyer. Sale to continental USA only. Please email me at uniceguy2@yahoo.com with any questions or comments. Thank you.
