Vernie Reed Dressed Crescent Knife: This beautiful piece from the prize student of well known maker Jerry Corbit features a stunning combination of exquisite fluted mother of pearl with gold screws, rare and beautiful Eggerling mosaic Damascus blade and intricate Damascus bolsters. The solid gold thumb stud is inlaid with beautiful mother of pearl to add both beautiful splendor and value to this already exceptional knife. The back spacer is file worked, carved and inlaid with five separate pieces of the same exquisite mother of pearl and the liners are nicely file worked to match. Mr. Reed also inlaid and file worked the inside of the back spacer as well to match the outside. He finished the knife with braided 22 kt gold wire which he has inlayed in the fluted sections of the Mother of Pearl. Sold Armslist....
