Here is a large chef knife very lightweight and great for general kitchen use.

The materials are perfect for kitchen use, 440c is a great stainless and will not rust or spot in the kitchen. The Lacewood is stabilized by WSSI, their process replaces the moisture and voids in the wood with a polymer that makes the wood water proof and very durable. The handles fit your hand comfortably and the nose of the handle is tapered to allow for a pinch grip for doing light chopping such as garlic. The width of the blade allows it to be uses as a spatula making prep even easier.

Steel 0.125 thick, 440c heat treat by Paul Bos shop.

Handle Professionaly Stabilized (WSSI) Lacewood with Mosaic Pins.

Total length 14" blade 9.5" width 2.125"

Full flat grind spine to the edge 0.015" 15 degree bevel

This kind of offering makes me want to just walk into William Sonoma and just laugh at the prices theyre asking for their high end chefs knives. Awesome work!

It is interesting that the factory kitchen knives have become very expensive. They grind the edge to an unreal thickness, so they cut like magic for a short while. There is a lot of feedback about chipping, and the need for professional sharpening, but alot still buy.

I'd buy a set from you.

I have a set in Stabilized Black Palm, it is being photographed this weekend, Large chef like this on, smaller prep knife, paring knife and ceramic rod, in a matching black palm block, email or pm for details.
