Thank you DT for the link ...I have sent it to all my doggy friends.

It brought amazement, laughs and a few tears.

while Im at it . here's my 1st dog in 16 years

a "border heeler" names Rory
he's a hand full but we are bonding well

He is one fine looking canine, with a doubling up of working dog traits you should have him rounding up anything you so desire ;)

I had a Australian Blue Heeler Cattle Dog cross-breed named Deel who died at 14 years of age in 2004

and his 'nick-name' was 'the Nipper' due to his love of nipping me in his moments of utter happiness during play. At the age of 14years he would still give a nip of delight.

As you may have read I lost my Border Collie of 13years on Feb 4 and all I will say besides that I miss her so much is that the breed is one of the smartest of all.

One thing about your 'border heeler' is that it will be about the most bidable dogs in the world. It will just want to please you. Your job will be to keep ahead of him and anticipate him as he tries to anticipate your commands.

Best wishes to you both for a long happy future.
