I hope I'm not doing him a disservice, but has it occurred to anyone here that the Mr Kevin Tan no-one seems to have heard of might be the same as a not infrequent poster who goes by the moniker "kevtan"?

Unreal...

Maybe you're too busy chest thumping.

Yes I thought you might like it - occurred to me when I first came across the name, but waited to see what transpired.

Of course this should make you think just a bit. Assuming this is the same person, you should now know Mr Tan does in fact exist and is a factory manager in KL - not inconsistent with a person with design abilities and connections in Asia.

In particular, you might also see the sense in doing as I suggested in the first place - leave this to professionals.

But I wont be holding my breath.

Hm, Tan is a very common last name, Kevin is a common first name. It wouldn't surprise me if these are two different people we're dealing with here.

Could well be.

Just this though. He was here when I put this up, for quite some time. It seemed a good opportunity, kind of thing - could delete quickly if it seemed appropriate.

Still speculation though, sure. But I think I'm on the mark, just the same.

I think you are, too. How many people named Kevin Tan would frequent Bladeforums? There are only two Thoms here and we have different surnames.
