I have had 2 BATACS, one an LE but due to circumstances I have had to let them both go. I love the BATAC, and really hope to get another someday soon. Is anybody else a big fan of them? If so, please post your pics.
Here's the ones I had, and miss.

Funny thing - the BATAC was the first I bought from Busse. I didn't like it at all at first, until I took it out used it. Then I loved it!

It's a terrific all-rounder. Tougher than nails and small enough to carry.

Funny, I have one on my belt right now ;)
The BATAC has got to be my favorite, the size is right (for me) and I really like the look of em.
They're just right.

The rest of those pics are in a thread called "sunday morning hike" a few pages back.

This is my one I pack. stripped the blade, but left the dimple section up on the saber grind.. Its a great little all multipurpose knife.. BUT I REALLY LIKE THE BATACLE, but can't seem to take one out and get it dirty... The sheath is actually my MSR Currahee sheath... fits the bill of the Batac too.

I love BATACs - in my opinion they are perfect hiking knives
This one is my favorite Busse user:

Well, I just received a BATAC LE which I bought hoping to find an Infi RMD....and to me on first impressions.... it is a bit too heavy...certainly one "sturdy" knife...but I think for the weight I would prefer to carry a regular FSH...I just convexed and re-profiled the edge today as it was dull....and that makes me feel a lot better....it went through a small phone directory no problem...but it is huge for a 5 inch knife! I probably need to use it a little before deciding what to do....how much lighter is a regular BATAC?

I had a BATAC LE briefly but it didn't really strike me as a keeper, so I sent it where it could be better appreciated.

The Snakeskin on mymindisamob's post are almost enough to tempt me though...

i have 2 snakeskin handled[standard thickness] and one le[thick blade and handles]..i do prefer the standard handles and thinner blades on the batac.its the perfect all around knife for me.

IMHO the batac is probably a little under rated. It's a great size which makes it useful for many tasks. I like them a lot

The CG BATAC and the LE are like night and day.
I don't have any numbers for you, but a regular CG is as thick over the handle as one slab and the steel stock on the LE.
CG being much lighter as well, of course. The regular handle feels too skinny for some folks, and I agree that a CG does best with mags.
All in all, the CG is a lightweight do-it-all that won't sag your pants

I love the CG. Best knife hands down. I feel that it is the be all, do all in one knife. That is next to the BAIII.

A year ago I had a BATAC 2007 SE that was stolen so I bought a replacement. Then the original was recovered. Both were sold shortly afterwards but now I've got an LE inbound. It's due here probably Tuesday and I can't wait.
It was my first Busse and now I will be glad to have one back, particularly the LE!!

As has been said, night and fleepin day. I really like my CGBATAC - tan/snake. Greatly disliked my BATACLE. Too fat.

Unlike the SJTACLE, which is a far more elegant knife. (And I've got #208, Jeepnut. WOW!)

Man, Giant, that polished one is gorgeous!

Here are mine (I can't take photos like you guys!)

BATACLE was the knife that started the infi addiction......I use my BATAC every day to relieve stress even if it's only to whittle cardboard into a million pieces!!!
