For the love of the YCS

Yeah what Gehazi said all inlaid and simply beautiful, my Sanu YCS came with a clear coat over it and it has aged well considering its age and has that yellowish tint to the inlay work.
And Sorry Gurkha, these will put ya over the edge man, they are so amazing to hold, they certainly dont help the wallet at all.

pugs, my YCS is also a sanu, and I agree with all you said, he has impeccable work.

Photo by Yangdu. It is a fierce chopper!

17.5 inch 38 ounce YCS by Lachhu Kami.

I just got mine today. Nearly identical as yours. They are magnificent, even plain vanilla like ours.

Wow! All of these are amazing. I especially like the inlaid Yin-Yang ones. The carved ones are great and even the "plain" ones are mighty sexy.

I am starting to hate all of you for posting these beauties. j/k. I am going to have to just start having part of my income direct deposited to HI. :)

Do you think any of those inlaid ones will ever come around again?

Like Spark says, "Haters gonna Hate".:D

A blem/user by Sanu.

Looks great! Thanks for rubbing it in ... er, I mean thanks for posting the pics. :)

They're coming soon, that's all I can say.

Thanks! That's all I need to know. I will have to set aside a few dollars. I have "some" discipline but I know I will not be able to resist one of those.

I wonder what about this YCS caused it to be classified as a blem?

UPS was not kind to this one during its trip from Nepal to Reno. Handle chipped, scabbard leather split, chape mashed. I folded the buttplate over the top, and the handle is actually more comfortable to use than a regular one. The chape and buttplate are softer than usual -because they are silver! It gives me a perverse pleasure to do some serious chopping with a silver-mounted kukri.
YCS damaged in shipment. Pix. Save a hundred bucks.
