For the newbies who don't have a grinder...

Very sweet! Thanks for taking the time to do that. I have book marked the link.

Saved to hard drive. You are my new favorite person.

I believe that was written by a fellow forum member, Langchop. I'm sure it'll help some folks get started.

thats pretty neat! I have a filing jig set up to file a 6" fighter, 3/16" thick, yeah i think i am crazy too...

Now thats cool!! I'm gonna put my FIL on that project!

That's awesome. I haven't yet took the plunge on a knife yet. This may make my first one look good!

...and I'm one step closer to trying my first knife. Thank You.

(I'm I the only one was incredibly INCREDIBLY intimidated by the mere idea of their first knife?)

Why not epoxy the pins in the little nut jig. If I am thinking right you could epoxy one side of each pin and ditch the paperclip. One side on the pin that goes between the 2 nuts and epoxy the side of the pins that goes into the frame. It still should swivel.

Or if you have a tap get a block of aluminum and tap the side for a bolt and the top for the all thread rod. Do the same in a smaller block and carefully cut a bolt that will thread into the sides of each block.

There's the way to save a whole buncha' money on belts
